“ Da Scoop” on Mai Tai

On a sunny and hot day nothing helps a parched mouth better than an ice-cold Mai Tai. This boozy libation is synonymous with Hawaii and Real Big Mouths added a spin by topping it with a scoop of Asato Family Shop’s sherbert. Why did no one think of this before? Of course, this tropical drink can only be enjoyed if you are 21 years of age or older. 

Real Big Mouths’ Mai Tai Recipe:


· Asato Family Shop’s Da Classic Pineapple sherbert 

· 2 oz. light rum

· ½ oz. orange liqueur – Solerno (Blood orange), Triple Sec, Grand Marnier

· ½ oz. macadamia nut liqueur. An amaretto like Disaronno can be substituted.

· 1 oz. Passion-Orange-Guava (POG) Juice 

· 1 oz. Pineapple 

· ½ oz. Dark Rum

· Lime and Mint to garnish 



Instructions:

Combine light rum, orange liqueur, macadamia nut liqueur, Passion-Orange-Guava and Pineapple juices in a shaker. Add ice and shake for twenty seconds. Pour into a Collins or short glass. Float dark rum. Add a generous scoop of Asato Family Shop’s Da Classic Pineapple on top. Garnish with lime and mint. Sip and enjoy responsibly!
